On Monday 31 January, Sixth Form Design Scholars, and Sixth Form Design pupils who have been scholarly in their work ethic, travelled down to London for The Making of Harry Potter, Warner Bros. Studio Tour. The education trip gave pupils an insight into all the different routes possible to go into within the film industry through Art & Design.  

Lower 6 pupil and Marketing Community Service member, Milton, writes: 

On Monday 31 January, we went to the Warner Bros. Studios and had a great time seeing how the films were produced, and the work that went into them to make the props and sets. Seeing behind the scenes was a great insight into what we could do in our A-Level work, or even as a profession after school. The most interesting part to me was the section about how it was publicised, and that it was really kickstarted by the fans rather than a marketing department, showing that if you make something good, people talk about it, and it gets shared. I think it was a great trip, and was enjoyed by everyone that went.
