The children were able to touch and explore real artifacts from the Polar Regions including the skull of a saber tooth cat and the fur from a wooly mammoth. Upper One then became paleontologists and had to gently bush the sand off bones which they had discovered and went on to realise that these were the bones of a saber tooth cat! At the end of a busy day, they met amazing life size polar animals including a polar bear, penguins and wolves.
