Lower School Chamber Choir Perform At Priscilla Bacon Hospice Service Of Reflection

16 December 2022

On Thursday evening, members of the Lower School Chamber Choir performed at the Priscilla Bacon Service of Reflection in Norwich Cathedral.

It was a beautiful and moving service with many dignitaries in attendance including The Lord Lieutenant of Norfolk, The High Sheriff of Norfolk, The Sheriff of Norwich and the Deputy Lord Mayor.

The choir led the congregational carols, including a solo from U3 pupil Isla Lowery in Once in Royal David’s City, and they also performed The Lamb by Elaine Hagenburg and It’s Christmas Time written by our very own Head of Music, Mr Noel Vine.

Mr Vine said: "It was a real honour to be asked to perform in such a prestigious service and I am so proud of the Chamber Choir for their excellent singing and professionalism."

Hugo Stevenson, Head of Operations and Fundraising for Priscilla Bacon Hospice, said: "The choir performed beautifully and added a touch of magic to this very special service. Our thanks to the pupils and staff of Norwich School for their tremendous ongoing support - we are so grateful to them for performing at this service year after year."
