Lower 2 visited Swaffham Museum this week, to learn more about its famous Egyptologist, Howard Carter.
They learned about his childhood in Norfolk, how his interest in Egyptian artefacts blossomed and how he discovered the location of Tutankhamun's tomb. They learned about the significance of a phaoroah's headdress and how a noble person would have reached the Afterlife.
They also carried out some map work around Swaffham town centre, learning some its history on the way.
Our thanks go to the very helpful volunteers at Swaffham Museum!
