A packed out Lower School Hall enjoyed a magical evening of music featuring pupils from Lower 2 and Upper 2.
There was a wonderful atmosphere as the audience were treated to pieces by Mozart, Beethoven and Handel and also a sprinkling of Elvis, Michael Jackson and The Beatles. Many of the pupils had never performed in a concert before and rose to the occasion to show how hard they had been working and practising. Cellists, Drummers, Guitarists, Flautists, Violinists, Pianists and a French Horn bringing together a diverse list of musical works.
Also featured on the night was a new vocal group who performed a song that they had composed themselves called ‘Rainbow’.
Head of Music Mr Vine said, ‘a truly wonderful evening and a fantastic atmosphere for our pupils to perform in – Bravo to everyone who played and sang and thank you to everyone who came and made it a very special evening.’
The next informal concert will be on the 27 February showcasing pupils from Lower 1 and Upper 1.
