A new series of Informal Concerts kicked off in the Lower School Hall on Thursday evening with a fantastic variety of musical talent on show from our Upper 3 pupils.

The audience enjoyed a wide range of musical genres from Baroque to Musicals – Classical to Rick Astley!  Some wonderful vocal performances showcasing songs from Six The Musical, Matilda, Mary Poppins Returns and The Greatest Showman and a wide variety of instrumental performances featuring Clarinet, Violin, Drums, Trumpet, Recorder and Piano.

Head of Music Mr Vine said ‘Another wonderful evening of music making in the Lower School!  Where else are you going to get pieces of music from Clementi, Dvorak, Bach and Kabalevsky alongside Tim Minchin and Never Gonna Give you Up by Rick Astley!  A great fun start to our Informal Concerts and congratulations to all who performed and thank you for all your hard work.  A special thank you to all our visiting music tutors for preparing their pupils for this concert and as always, a big thank you to our visiting audience for your support and attendance’

The next informal concert is on 25 January at 16:45 in the Lower School Hall and will feature pupils from Lower 3.
