Infant Pupils Celebrate World Book Day with a Dragon Hunt!

02 March 2023

Do you know where to look for dragons in Norwich?

Infant pupils had the opportunity to hunt for dragons and celebrate World Book Day this week, when they visited the local bookshop, Bookbugs and Dragon Tales.

Not only did they have a wonderful time searching for beasts such as the Oriental Dragon and Thea the Listening Dragon, they also got the opportunity to redeem their World Book Day token and choose a book to take home. They finished the trip with a story about a dragon called Franklin’s Flying Bookshop.

The pupils had a lot to say about their trip:

“I liked getting the Spider Man book with my World Book Day token!” - Wesley

“It was fun picking a new book all about bugs. I have never had a bug book before!” - Keira

"I liked going to the bookshop and picking a new book." - Harry

"We did a dragon hunt. We had to read clues and look for the dragons around the book shop! It was fun, I liked all the dragons!" – Cleo

"There were lots of books and dragons! My favourite part was the dragon hunt and the Oriental Dragon." – Salvatore

"My favourite part of the trip was buying the books!" - Lottie

Thank you Bookbugs and Dragon Tales for having us!
