On Wednesday October 11, the Lower School partook in National Bring Your Bear to School Day. From a T-Rex to a bunny rabbit, the pupils enjoyed bringing in their varied cuddly toys from home and introducing them to their peers.
In the LS Library, pupils took the time to read to their bears in a relaxed and comfortable setting. Some pupils decided to read together to their groups of teddy bears, inviting those who didn’t bring theirs in to join in with their cuddly toy reading group, meaning everyone could join in on the fun. Others preferred to spend their time with their bear cosily and quietly, nurturing their own reading skills. It was wonderful for the pupils to bring a piece of home to school with them.
Reception also engaged in a teddy bear doctors surgery and introduced their cuddly toys to all the fun and interactive activities they have been getting up to.
