This week, Upper 3 pupils began a new series of the Informal Concerts for Lent Term showcasing a diverse range of repertoire and instruments to an excited and enthusiastic audience in the Lower School Hall.
Composers such as Bela Bartok, Oscar Peterson and Kabalevsky sat alongside new works from Alan Bullard, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Gary Ryan.
Music performed included songs from The Sound of Music and vocal duets from Moana, Piano Jazz Studies, Traditional Chinese folk songs, and virtuosic Trumpet solos.
Head of Music Mr Vine said:
"Once again, I am incredibly proud of the pupils of the Lower School for all the hard work that they have put in for this concert. A big well done to everyone who took part."
The next informal concert will feature pupils from L3 and will take place on the 31 January at 17:00 in the Hall. All are welcome.
