Following a Sold Out debut at FreshFest, this new play by Nadia Jackson returns to the Old Red Lion for a limited run.
Dora Maar (1907-1997) was a prolific photographer and artist, who developed a career in fashion photography, and was hailed as one of the first women in the surrealist movement. She used her creations as a social commentary on gender, beauty and war.
History holds Dora’s romantic involvement with Pablo Picasso as the only memorable thing about her, but in this play, Dora will provide a different view.
