Dr Hall
Dr Hall has been teaching Physics for 14 years and has been Head of Physics at Norwich School since 2018, having previously worked in the state sector. At Norwich School, he also manages the Academic Mentoring Programme which involves older pupils supporting younger pupils to achieve to the best of their ability across all curriculum subjects. Prior to his teaching career, Dr Hall worked as a Chartered Engineer in a range of engineering, project management, and production management roles in the nuclear, metals, and food manufacturing industries, before moving back into academic research and publishing a paper relating to the physics of the Nordic Seas and its importance in the global thermohaline circulation. Dr Hall holds four degrees in engineering and science in addition to professional qualifications in industrial health and safety and radiation protection techniques. He specialises in placing theoretical physics and engineering concepts into a practical context, running enrichment sessions on topics beyond the scope of A Level, and supporting pupils with their physics and engineering higher education applications.
