Mr Hazard
Mr. Hazard is an experienced and dedicated chemistry teacher with over two decades of classroom experience. He holds a BSc in Biological and Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Exeter, where he developed a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied chemical sciences. His teaching career spans 20 years, with the first decade spent in a variety of state and independent schools across London. During this time, he honed his ability to engage students of all abilities and backgrounds, building a reputation for clarity, enthusiasm, and high academic standards.
For the past 10 years, Mr. Hazard has been a valued member of the science faculty at his current school, where he continues to inspire the next generation of chemists. His particular academic interests include nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and its applications in structural biology and organic chemistry. Beyond the classroom, Mr. Hazard is a passionate advocate for lifelong learning and enjoys immersing himself in dense, hardback science and history books. He is also an avid cyclist and golfer, often spending his weekends on long countryside rides or perfecting his swing on the golf course. Mr. Hazard brings energy, curiosity, and a love of science to every lesson he teaches but has heard no original or funny jokes about his name for at least 6 years.
