Andy Fisher

Mr Andy Fisher has taught at Norwich School since 1995, with a period away from the school where he served as Director of Training in a security start up. He read Communication Studies at Coventry, followed by a PGCE in English and Drama at Warwick University. His additional qualifications include a Level 4 Land-Based Survival Instructor Award and various other outdoor activity certifications. His subject specialization is English, but he also teaches Artificial Intelligence to Year 10 and Year 11 students, operating as an early adopter and advocate for the ethical use of AI in education.

He has served as Housemaster of Parker House and has held roles as Deputy Head of Outdoor Learning and PSHE curriculum coordinator. His interests beyond the classroom include hiking, martial arts, Buddhist philosophy, and climbing. When he's not teaching, he can usually be found outside on a hill somewhere or reading about the fast-evolving world of technology and education.
