Broadening Educational Pathways Regional Coordinator – RNCSF
This role is a unique opportunity to improve the lives and outcomes of care-experienced and vulnerable children in the East of England.
We are looking for a suitably experienced individual to provide effective support to the Royal National Children’s Springboard Foundation (RNCSF) for the Eastern region. The position will be employed by Norwich School and seconded to the RNCSF.
The RNCSF believe that all children should be able to access a great education, as the firmest foundation for a fulfilling future. Their mission is to widen access to the opportunities available in state boarding and independent schools for young people facing the greatest barriers to their development. To achieve this, they work with state boarding and independent schools to help them target their fully funded school places and work with local authority and community organisation partners to identify the young people who need them most and help them access these effectively.
The successful candidate will be working with senior leaders in schools and local authorities in order to secure independent day and boarding school bursary placements and access to partnership activities for care experienced children. They will need to be organised, a confident communicator, have excellent personal qualities and strong influencing and negotiating skills, alongside a passion for improving outcomes for children who face the most barriers to opportunity.
This role is supported by staff at Norwich and RNCSF, but the successful appointee will be a self-starter who is comfortable with remote line management, working autonomously, and using their initiative to develop and grow the regional activity. Vulnerable children can be part of complex systems and have complicated lives and candidates should therefore be adaptable and comfortable working with ambiguity.
This is a fixed term post from 1st September 2025 – 31st August 2027, the position is part time based over 2.5 days per week. The role can be caried out both working from home and from the office and flexibility in working hours and pattern is required to meet the changing needs of the role. The salary range is £18,711 - £20,223 per annum (based on the FTE salary range of £37,422 - £40,447 per annum) based on skills and experience.
Completed application form should be sent by email to recruitment@norwich-school.org.uk by Tuesday 24th June 2025.
Norwich School & the RNCSF is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
