Introduction

 Search the library catalogue HERE.

The Norwich Senior School Library is a split-facility within the precinct of the former Bishop’s Palace situated adjacent to Norwich Cathedral, and comprises three libraries:  The Reynolds Library (named after former Bishop Reynolds), the Bishop’s Parlour Library, and the Undercroft Fiction Library.  In addition to the libraries in the Senior School there is also a library in the Lower School.

Our main role is to support teaching and learning across the school, to offer pupils the opportunity to access resources which broaden, extend and enhance their learning, and to give them access to a first-rate collection of fiction to promote reading for pleasure.

In addition to the 20,000 books in collections and thousands of recommended websites accessible through the library catalogue, we have exceptional resources:

• 7 daily newspapers

• wide selection of subject-specific and general interest journals

• on-line data bases

Library hours:  The libraries are open, during the term, from 7.45am, and the Reynolds Library remains open until 5.00pm
