Applying to Norwich School

Applying to a new school can be an exciting and terrifying prospect in equal measure for children and parents. As a school we recognise this and will make every effort to put you at ease.

We would encourage you to come and see the school, either at an Open Morning or Open Afternoon (March, June and September) or on an individual tour; you will meet key admissions and teaching staff and pupils and gain a sense of the layout of the school.

You can also find out more about life at Norwich School by watching our short film:

All children sit written papers irrespective of their entry point. Subsequent interviews are age appropriate and in the Senior School the format is one of interactive activities that might include creative, artistic, dramatic, scientific or sporting activities which are good fun!  Every child is invited to the Senior and Sixth Form interviews and our decision for all applicants will be based on the degree of fit between the school and the child. We will use information from the interviews, written papers and reference provided by the current school in making a decision.

The Admissions Office is always happy to respond to queries; please do ask rather than worry.
