Trinity Term Informal Concerts Kick Off In Style With Upper 3

25 April 2024

The Trinity Term Informal Concerts started with performance from pupils in Upper 3 showcasing their exceptional talents, and thrilling the well-attended concert audience in the Lower School Hall. The children have only been back to School for a week after the Easter break but showed real dedication and passion in every note they played and sang.

There was an excellent variety of music presented. From classical masterpieces by Beethoven and J.S. Bach to contemporary hits like ‘7 Nation Army by The White Stripes - ’the repertoire was as diverse as it was impressive. This eclectic selection catered to a wide range of musical tastes, ensuring that there was something for everyone in the audience to enjoy.

What truly set these performances apart was the level of talent displayed by the students. Each performance was executed with precision and flair, demonstrating not only technical skill but also a deep understanding and appreciation of the music. Whether it was a soulful rendition of ‘Quiet’ from Matilida or a beautiful Gavotte from Bach, the pupils delivered with confidence and poise.

Another highlight of the concerts was the diversity of instruments and vocals showcased throughout the evening. From the delicate playing of the violin to the powerful resonance of the trumpet, there was a rich tapestry of sound that captivated the audience from start to finish.

It was heartening to see that the concerts were well attended, indicating strong support from both the school community and the families of the performers. The enthusiastic response from the audience was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, as well as the guidance and support provided by their teachers.

The next Informal Concert is on Thursday May 2nd and will feature pupils from Lower 3.
