New Chorister Ties

The life of a chorister is immensely busy. Boys join the Cathedral Choir in the Lower School and continue the role through the Fourth Form, and sometimes into Lower 5. They sing in the Cathedral six days a week, starting each morning with a rehearsal before the school day begins. They perform in three Choral Evensongs and two services on Sundays. Of course, the Choristers are also involved in additional services during the major religious festivals of Christmas and Easter which can be an incredibly busy time. The Senior Choristers have been recently awarded their School Chorister tie by the Head in a morning assembly to recognize this hard work, dedication and talent. It was lovely that both serving and Ex- choristers were involved in the process of designing the ties. The following choristers have been awarded the ties and are now wearing them with pride:

Lower 4

George Blyth

William Lambert

Isaac Schaad

Upper 4

Rupert Glover-Darke

Teddy Curtis (Head Chorister)
