The Head of History, Mr Grant, described a wonderful evening last week for the annual History Dinner where teachers and pupils come together to enjoy a themed extravaganza. His report follows:
“On Friday evening, A Level historians attended the annual history dinner. This year’s theme was 1960s America and the refectory served up dishes from the era including NASA space food, a hippie sharing platter and Norwich School’s own superb version of a Big Mac. There was an excellent effort on the costume front: Vietnam war veterans mingled with hippies and a blood-spattered Mr and Mrs Kennedy. Dr Farr was uncanny as Buzz Aldrin and Mr Hooper made a convincing Bob Dylan. Thanks to Mr Robbins for his organisation and to the refectory staff for their wonderful food.”
