Street Child Spring Gala Celebrates Women and Girls Around the World

On 8 March, Lucy Temple and Anna Lloyd attended Street Child's Spring Gala on behalf of Norwich School. As it was held on International Women’s Day this year, the event was primarily led by female speakers and was dedicated to advocating change for women and girls around the world. Norwich School received a special thank you during the evening for their work with Street Child. Lucy, Head of Charities and Pupil Voice, tells us more...

"We would like to congratulate Street Child on the success of their annual Spring Gala held at the Pan Pacific in London on International Women’s Day last week.

The event was primarily led by female speakers and was dedicated towards trailblazing change for women and girls around the world. The evening highlighted examples of their work in protecting and educating children in some of the most marginalised populations, in empowering families in vulnerable situations and in their rapid response to international emergencies.

Since their establishment in 2008, they have transformed the lives of thousands of young people across the world with the incredible work that they are doing. If you would like further information on the charity, please visit their website www.street-child.org."
