Mind the Gap: Meet Eloise Cubbin

Kicking off this new series where we introduce our Gap Students and Graduate Assistants, we are delighted to hear from Eloise Cubbin who has joined the Drama Department this year.

Eloise is an ON (13-18) and says she is very excited at the prospect of coming back to work at the school and getting her hands on some of the productions! Her role, as the Graduate Drama Assistant, involves some teaching, directing drama pieces and helping sixth formers with any applications or auditions they may have.

Before getting this role, Eloise was working as a freelance performer focusing on musical theatre. She hopes to continue this alongside her work at Norwich School.

Eloise is most excited about the school musical, which this year is Footloose. When Eloise was a pupil at Norwich School, she had a key role in the 2017 musical, We Will Rock You and she remembers this experience as one of her favourite memories of the school. She says she is also looking forward to the Gather Festival in the summer which she was also heavily involved in as a pupil.

We asked Eloise what her plans for the future are and she said “I will always be performing and see where the wind takes me”.
