As part of our long-standing series of lectures on site where the school hosts partner organisations, we were thrilled to welcome back on 16 May 2024 the prestigious Royal Geographical Society for their second lecture this month.

As part of the prestigious Norwich and Norfolk Festival of Arts, we were honoured to host the highly respected Norfolk Contemporary Arts Society (n-cas) to the Blake Studio on 15 May 2024.

As part of our on-going series of lectures hosted by Norwich School we were honoured once again to welcome on site our friends at the Royal Geographical Society (Eastern region) on 7^th May 2024.

On Tuesday 7 May, Dr Marcus Edwards, Director of the undergraduate Biochemistry degree course at the University of Essex, and Mr Josh Burton, a PhD student at UEA, hosted the L6 Biology enrichment day.

After a strong return to girls’ football last season, the sport proved even more popular this year with the group almost doubling in size.

As part of our series of public talks with local cultural organisations held at Norwich School, we were delighted once again to act as host to the highly respected Norfolk Contemporary Art Society (n-cas) on 1^st May 2024.

On April 30, the L6 Art Historians met up at Houghton Hall with the year 12 Art Historians from Gresham's.

Norwich School held it’s first Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine (STEMM) Showcase Event on Monday 29 April.

On Sunday 28 April, nearly 30 Norwich school pupils braved the rainy weather to compete in the Eastern Region School Ski Race.

On Friday 16 April, the History Department came together for its annual dinner.

Upper Sixth Physics pupils recently participated in the British Physics Olympiad hosted by the University of Oxford. 

This year saw excellent participation from both Lower and Upper Sixth Chemists in the Royal Society of Chemistry's annual Olympiad competition, with our highest ever total of 29 pupils receiving awards.

On Saturday 12 April, J15 and J16 rowers represented the Eastern Region at the Junior Inter Regional Regatta at the National Watersports Centre, Holme Pierrepoint, Nottingham. Additionally, on Sunday 21 April, it was Daniel Conway’s turn to race at Holme Pierrpont at the GB Spring Trials Regatta.

On Thursday 18 April, 18 members of Coke house spent the day at Holkham Hall to find out more about who our house is named after.

U4 Pupil, Zach Lloyd, and parents are running the Sierra Leone Half Marathon on 5 May 2024 to fundraise for Street Child. Zach tells us a little about the event and what we can do to support him.

5 L6 pupils were given the opportunity to attend Rogers & Norton Law Academy throughout the year.

On April 11 Norwich School pupils undertook a challenging day of golf at Swaffham Golf Course in cold, windy conditions.

The Crypt Gallery looks forward to welcoming upcoming exhibition, Double Take which coincides with Norfolk and Norwich Festival. The exhibition consists of recent work by three artists with strong bonds to East Anglia: sculptor, James Evans, painter, Susan Gunn and painter, printmaker and photographer, Tassie Russell.
