On April 30, the L6 Art Historians met up at Houghton Hall with the year 12 Art Historians from Gresham's. We had a lovely pot-luck picnic, then the pupils were given an in-situ lesson from their teachers (Mrs Williams-Goff, Norwich School and Mrs Robinson, Gresham's) on the huge 100 piece installation by Anthony Gormley currently on display in the grounds. Then, in mixed school groups, they had time to explore the sculptures and building, learning from one another, practicing their skills of analysis and collaborating on interpretations using the house and sculptures as first-hand stimulus. 

It was a day enjoyed by all who attended!
