Girls Cricket

Girls Cricket

Cricket is now the established core sport for girls in the summer term. Girls Cricket has developed significantly over the last three years . In this relatively short period of time we have had some great success on our circuit, where both our U13s and U15s won the Indoor County Competition (13s two years in a row), and our U15s won the Outdoor Chance to Shine Competition. We also have a number of girls who have achieved County representation recently, with the majority maintaining their place at that level.

Fixtures have developed significantly in the past few seasons. Most of the matches were based around the development of all girls at all levels, but in the last year or so we have entered more National competitions and the girls are enjoying some fierce competition on a larger scale each year. Formats for different teams are often adapted according to the level of ability, allowing all to develop the skills required in games that are fun and physically testing.
