U6 Pupils Present Business Plans at UEA

03 December 2019

On Wednesday 27th November U6 Business Enterprise pupils delivered Business Plan presentations at the Enterprise Centre, in collaboration with the Norwich Business School at UEA.

Pupils were hosted by Dr Dimitrios Dousios, lecturer in Entrepreneurship and course leader of the MSc in Enterprise and Business Creation, and the judges were a selection of his postgraduate students. Some tough questioning from the panel followed each pupil presentation.

The U6 Business Enterprise class had been working on their plans since the summer, and the six finalists were chosen by a selection process held at Norwich School in which all the pupils on the course had the opportunity to present their ideas.

Congratulations to finalists Isaac George, Finn Campbell, and Ed Collinson. Ella Bartram and Zak Ashdown were specially Commended. This year’s winner was Akshita Brahma.

Mr White, Head of Economics and Business Enterprise at Norwich School, said: "We saw some great examples of both creativity and strategy, and Akshita’s ideas and presentation really stood out. The UEA Business School judges were again impressed by the standard on display."
