Norwich School pupil, Sophie Duez, has been shortlisted for the Norwich University of the Arts’ Beyond the Frame 2020 photography competition.

This year’s theme was Through My Eyes and applicants could interpret this theme in their own style. Sophie entered three photographs, which can be seen in the carousel below. 

Photographers Fay Doyle, Kane Layland, James Smith and Julia Fullerton-Batten were the judges for the competition and said:

"We were flabbergasted by the number of submissions this year (over one thousand!) and just as impressed with the quality of the work. It was very difficult to make a final shortlist – so very well done indeed."

Due to the current circumstances, NUA has decided against hosting the Beyond the Frame lecture series, exhibition and awards ceremony at NUA. Instead, they are working towards an online/digital alternative.
