School statement about racial prejudice

18 June 2020

In response to allegations of racist incidents at the school, Head Master Steffan Griffiths said: “What we have read and heard from pupils and past pupils is troubling to read, both in the nature and number of instances listed".

"We are deeply sorry for any hurt and distress caused to members of our community.

"We aspire to be a loving, compassionate community and regret any instances of unkindness. Racism has no place at our school, and we will not tolerate it. We have already started to put into place a number of actions and we will consider all of those suggested to us."
