Premiere of The Marriage of Figaro

11 March 2020

Singers at Norwich School made the most of their talents by staging an edited production of Mozart's well-loved opera - The Marriage of Figaro.

Composed in 1786  the opera tells the story of how the servants Figaro and Susanna succeed in getting married, foiling the efforts of their philandering employer Count Almaviva to seduce Susanna and teaching him a lesson in fidelity.

The first performance of this happened on Monday 9th March at Norwich School's Blake Studio

The production is now set to go on tour to North Repps, near Cromer (20th March), and to the Old Granary Studio in South Norfolk (26th April).

Tickets for these two venues are also on Ticketsource and you are very welcome to join us.
