On the 10th January 34 pupils went to Redmayne Playing Fields for the City Schools Cross County Championships. 19 of our pupils finished in the top ten of their respective races and gained qualification for the County Round. 

Maddison Kelly (L4R) won the under 13s race with Maddie Hallum (L4N) coming 5th. The L4 girls came 3rd in the overall team competition. 

Arthur Turner (L4N), Daniel Conway (L4B), Max Blaxell (L4R) and Kitt Scott (L4S) all ran well and this ensured that the L4 boys won their team event. 

The school came first in the under 15 girls and under 17 girls races, with Kitty Taylor (M5C) and Emily Cahir (M5S) running well, coming first and second respectively. 

The under 15 boys came 3rd with Freddie Mitchell (U4R) the first Norwich School runner across the line.

The Under 17 boys team narrowly came 2nd to Notre Dame, with 5 of the boys finishing in the top ten. James Price (M5C) won the race.  

Well done to all those who took part and raced so impressively.
