The personal protective equipment (PPE) made by Norwich School's Art and Design teachers is arriving at hospitals, GP surgeries and hospices across Norfolk and beyond for use by healthcare professionals on the front line in the battle against COVID-19.
Vans full of the face-shields are now on their way to hospitals, GP surgeries and hospices around the county and even as far away as London.
Following considerable media interest in the story [see below] about Norwich School teachers and technicians giving up their Easter break to manufacture personal protective equipment, we have been inundated with requests for such equipment.
Norwich School has also made available the design files and workflow charts for other organisations who are interested in making such face shields themselves. These can be found here.
Thanks everyone for all your best wishes and especially to those volunteers who have been making the masks.
