Norwich School pupils were warmly welcomed to the Clare School on Thursday 7th June.
Pupils Adam Possener, Sophie Todd and Elizabeth King gave musical performances on the Viola, Voice and Oboe, to a group of pupils from the Clare School. Mrs Speca and Mrs Hill accompanied Norwich School pupils to the school.
"I had an incredible time at Clare School interacting with the children. It was so rewarding to share my love of music with such enthusiastic listeners. All of the children were inquisitive and eager to learn all they could about our instruments and share their own experiences with music. I loved spending time with them and it was a privilege to introduce them to the oboe, it was an amazing experience."
Adam Possener said:
"I just wanted to say how grateful I am for today, it was such a moving and transformative experience and I am so thrilled to have been able to use my music to make an impact on those young people’s day. People are always talking about the impact of music in the concert hall, how it works as emotional nourishment etc but I think today has really opened my eyes to all the other ways music can be used. Thank you so much!"
