Norwich School pupils competed at the International Optimist Class Association (IOCA) Selection Trials 2018 over the May Bank Holiday weekend. Pupils William Pank (M5P), Josh Means (L5V) and Grace Pank (U4P) all took part. 

There were exceptional results for William Pank who came 1st overall. Impressive results also came from Josh Means who came 12th and Grace Pank came 57th (she is 2 years younger than most competitors). 

There were 5 races in all over the three day event. There was good weather over the weekend, which meant there was little wind, making the trials even more challenging.
