Norwich School pupils break records at City Sports

Norwich School pupils excelled at the Norwich City Sports 2018. 

Madison Kelly (L4) won the girls 800m and 200m races, Daniel Conway (L4) won the boys 800m race, Jared Ikazoboh (U4) won the Long Jump race, Jacob Brown (L5) won the discus race, Ben Fletcher (L5) ran his first ever race at the distance of 1500m and won, Joe Warman (M5) won the 100m and high jump races, Jake Garside (M5) won the javelin race, whilst Josh Wiggins came 2nd in the 400m race - he ran the race in 59 seconds, only 6 seconds behind 1st place. 

Ann Kalu (U4) broke the 100m record at city sports, taking first place Ann ran 100m in 12.6 seconds. Ann then went straight to the long jump race and achieved 4m 47, nearly breaking that record too. She has now qualified for the Norfolk Schools champs in both 100m and long jump. Ann will also be going to the East Prep Schools championships. Ann is the first pupil to be a 100m national finalist.
