Norwich School pupil Alex Illing (L5E) had a successful weekend at the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing 2018 Grand Finals. The ISTD Grand Finals took place on the 3rd and 4th November at The Winter Gardens, Blackpool.

Alex has stepped up in both age and medal categories and was competing against 16 year olds (Alex is 13). Alex achieved semi finals dancing with his teacher and in the pairs, with his partner Claire, they were placed 1st in gold and above Ballroom and 2nd in gold and above Latin.
