Norwich School Partnerships Committee Announce Fundraising Events for the Trinity Term

17 May 2022

This term the Partnerships Committee has voted to support local charity, the Norfolk LGBTQ+ Project. The committee is planning two events to raise money for the charity - Home Clothes Day and the Fashion Show. We caught up with Partnerships Committee member, Macy-Jane Hewitt, to find out more...

"We are really pleased to be supporting local charity Norfolk LGBTQ+ Project this term. Since 2007, they have been providing support, information and advice that is relevant to the health and wellbeing of the LGBT+ community. It is a registered, local charity which provides support, information and advice to all age groups in Norfolk and Waveney.

So, the Partnerships Committee has not only chosen to support The Norfolk LGBT+ Project for home clothes day but for the Norwich School Fashion Show 2022 too!

First up is Home Clothes Day which will take place on Friday 20 May. It has also been planned to coincide with World Day for Cultural Diversity which falls on Saturday 21 May, so if pupils would like to wear traditional cultural clothing they are warmly invited to do so.

Next half term, on 30 June, we are very excited to be organising the Norwich School Fashion show; one of the leading events on the School calendar. This year we have chosen an exciting new location - The Space in Norwich and we can promise there will be plenty for the audience to enjoy, including new lines with an ode to Her Majesty’s Platinum jubilee, new designers, returning ON designers, a teacher’s line and many more. However, we have also included some classic lines such as Dog Fish, Cat Fish and Dipple and Conway.

We very much hope you will book your ticket for what promises to be a night of fashion, fun and fundraising.
