Norwich School Languages Departments Donate Books to African Schools

09 September 2019

Norwich School's French and Spanish department have donated 18 boxes of books to schools in Africa this September.

Books2Africa is a charity working across Africa to provide schools with resources and books which are no longer needed by UK schools. Their aim is to improve the quality of education in Africa and help children in the developing world to reach their potential. Schools in the UK are able to donate their old textbooks, along with making a donation to cover the charity's transport costs, and help recycle millions of books every year.

The French and Spanish departments at Norwich School have donated 18 boxes of French and Spanish textbooks, with pupils helping to box up books in the first week of term. The school will be updated with their books final destination in the coming weeks.
