Norwich School Holds Public Exhibition on Palace Lawn Development

17 July 2018

Norwich School, together with its advisors, are working closely with external agencies, including Norwich City Council and Historic England to develop a series of buildings and spaces that fulfil the growing needs of the school.

The school held a public exhibition on Thursday 12th July 2018 to update the Norwich School community and general public on these plans.

The exhibition provided information, and welcomed feedback on the following:

• An urgent need to improve the school’s facilities

• The opportunity to build upon the school’s community ‘outreach’ programme by providing a new, iconic, multi-use facility in the heart of the city

• The operational and health and safety issues connected with the existing facilities

• The sensitivities of the school site and its multi-layered constraints

• Draft design response

Norwich School is proposing to submit a planning application for the development in the Autumn and they welcome your views on the draft proposals before the plans are finalised.
