Norwich School Choral Society, accompanied by the London Mozart Players, performed their annual Spring concert at St Andrew's Hall on Wednesday 21st March. Richard Allain, Director of Music at Norwich School, conducted the Orchestra.
The programme consisted of Mozart’s exquisite Coronation Mass, Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs, and Rutter’s uplifting setting of African-American spirituals Feel the Spirit.
Norwich School pupil Caitlin Obee performed Chaminade’s Concertino, as the flute soloist; Caitlin is Principle Flute with the County Youth Orchestra. Musicians from other schools, in partnership with the Norfolk Music Hub, will also took part.
