Norwich School attends a special event at the Hall School to thank those who offered support after minibuses vandalised

02 February 2018

Norwich School was invited to attend a special event at the Hall School to thank those who offered support after their minibuses were vandalised. The local community, including Norwich School, offered up use of mini-buses after a plea was made by the Head of the Hall School.

Criminals broke the fence of Hall School in Old Catton and removed 10 wheels from its tree minibuses, before smashing their windows.

The crime sparked an outpouring of support for the school, which supports children with severe learning difficulties, with funds raised, minibuses donated and well wishes sent in from around the region.

To thank those who helped, a special event was held where members of the Hall School choir sang four extremely uplifting songs to the representatives.

The guests were then presented with a beautiful thank you card made by the school community and three cheers followed. It was a wonderful occasion, much enjoyed by Nicola Hill (Head of Outreach) and bus driver, Mike Rowe.
