31 July 2019

Two pupils recently competed in the British Summer Swimming Championships in Glasgow, bringing home some fantastic results for City of Norwich Swimming Club. Olivier Vedrenne (L5V) and Lily MacDonald (L5E) were competing at the event, following the club's success at the Swim England East Swimming Championships.

Olivier Vedrenne had particular success, including winning British Champion in the 200m breaststroke (1st place), achieving 2nd place in both the 50m and 100m breaststroke, and achieving 3PB's. He also broke the Norfolk County Junior Records (16 and under) in the 50m and 100m breaststroke.

Lily Macdonald (L5E) also represented the team in Glasgow, and has secured her place in the English Nationals in the 200m Fly later this month. Ben Blowers (L6B) will also be competing with the club when they take part in the event in Sheffield.
