Members of the Norwich School Girls 1st XI Hockey Team have collectively raised £900 for Leeway Domestic Violence Charity by cycling the length of England.
The fifteen members of the team, including 12 girls and two coaches, set themselves the challenge of cycling the length of England for a local charity, Leeway Domestic Violence and Abuse Service, which supports women experiencing domestic violence in Norfolk. Over the course of a week, the team each cycled a segment of the total length, covering 1536.34km between them.
Their efforts have helped them to raise over £900 for the charity, which the girls chose specifically for the support it offers women in their local communities. The pupils created a JustGiving page, and donations can still be made by clicking here.
