A group of younger Music Scholars enjoyed a trip to the Theatre Royal in Norwich on Thursday 5th December to see an opera performance. 

For many of them it was their first experience of live opera. It was an amusing and lively production by the Glyndebourne Touring Company of L'Elisir D'Amore by Donizetti. The pupils were lucky enough to meet the singers in the two leading roles after the performance (in the back row of the photo). The singers answered questions about how they learnt their roles and their musical education. Thank you to Glyndebourne Touring Opera for welcoming our young musicians and a wonderful experience. 

We have been invited back next year to see The Magic Flute....
