Mr Sims takes part in the Doddie Aid challenge to raise money for charity

14 January 2021

Repton Housemaster Mr Sims is taking part in the Doddie Aid challenge to exercise 250 miles between the 1st January and the 6th February.

Doddie's Active Inter-District Challenge is a mass participation exercise event running through January 2021. You compete as part of one of the five teams from the old Scottish Inter-District championship: The South, Edinburgh, Glasgow, North & Midlands and Scottish Exiles. The aim is to log time spent exercising (cycling, running, walking - anything counts!) which goes towards your team total. On the 6th February, the Doddie Aid Inter-District champions will be unveiled for the most generous district with the most members who have logged the most miles.

The challenge is raising money for the Doddie Aid Chairty, which supports those affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

Mr Sims is participating in the Scottish Exiles team, and is aiming to log 250 miles, meaning he needs to average just under 6.8 miles a day. You can follow his progress and donate by visiting his JustGiving page here.
