Harry Paterson (L6B) has gained selection for England Hockey’s Advanced Award in Sporting Excellence (AASE) programme 2017/18. He is one of only 65 boys selected from across the country to take part.

The programme is designed to directly measure the athletes’ ability to plan, apply and evaluate their development in the appropriate aspects of hockey. In addition to time spent on pitch honing the technical and tactical elements of hockey, the AASE programme will cover a range of modules: - Strength & Conditioning, Psychology, Nutrition, Media and Communication Skills, Career Development, Lifestyle Management and more. The AASE programme is run in partnership between England Hockey and Loughborough College.
