Norwich School were invited to the official launch of the GoGoHares 2018 reveal on the 14th June. Artists, celebrities and members of the Norwich community were all in attendance.

12 Hares were revealed at the launch, with Fifty Hares in total to be positioned around Norwich city centre from the 24th June. Our very own Norwich School Hare will be revealed on the 24th.

A wonderful surprise was to see the late John Walker's artwork on his daughter's, Sophie Li-Rocchi, Hare; which is called 'Go Go King of Scribble'. The Norwich School community will quickly recognise lots of elements of Sophie's design, perhaps straight away the eyes - which represent the Crypt windows. Sophie started designing her Hare by projecting John's drawings onto the body of the Hare.

John Walker (1947-2016) taught at Norwich School for 41 years. He was Head of Art and Design and Art History, before becoming the school archivist (72-16). John sadly passed away in 2016. John was a prolific artist and spent his spare time drawing and painting.
