"Fortune Favours the Brave and Hard Working" Individual Successes on GCSE Results Day

23 August 2019

Norwich School is continuing to celebrate some individual pupil successes following GCSE Results Day 2019.

Rueben Gopaul

Rueben was delighted to receive the news that he had achieved 10 Grade 8/9/A* at GCSE.

“I woke up this morning so nervous, I thought I’d faint in the room! But I’m extremely pleased and relieved with my results. Fortune favours the brave and hardworking and I think today has proved that”.

Rueben will be continuing his studies in the Sixth Form in September.

Joelle Lok

Joelle also achieved 10 Grade 8/9/A* GCSEs, an incredible result for the pupil who joined the school in Lower 5 Form from Hong Kong.

“I’m very excited now to go into Sixth Form and couldn’t be happier with my results. All of the teachers have been incredibly helpful, and I would thank them for all their support this year.

Joshua Wiggins

Josh is also celebrating after gaining 10 Grade 8/9/A* GCSEs.

“It’s a really good way to finish 5th Form at Norwich School, and I must attribute my results to the hard work of the fantastic teaching and pastoral support from the academic staff. I really am over the moon.”

We will look forward to welcoming all three pupils back into the Sixth Form to continue their studies at A Level this September.
