24 January 2022

It was a busy weekend for sport across the country, including the first of the East Anglian League Cross Country fixtures, which took place on Saturday afternoon at Gresham’s. Fourteen Norwich School runners competed and the teams enjoyed a successful fixture.

In the Junior Boys race, Finn Kaiser (U4) came second and Miles Alston (L4) fourth.  Ahmed Mohammed (L4), William Duncan (L4) and Teddy Curtis (L4) also all finished in the top ten, securing top spot for the Junior Team.

Amelie Ivie (U4) was the second girl to finish and Bea Williamson (L4) was third. The Inters race saw Nick Conway (L5) take third place and Daniel Conway (U5) second, whilst in the Senior Boys race we had five runners in the top ten finishers, with Freddie Power (U6) having the best day, coming second. William Blythe-Bartram (U6), Daniel Collins (U6), Luke Fox (U6) and Charlie Windle (L6) (with an exciting sprint finish), made up the rest of the winning team.

Well done to all involved!
