On Saturday 18 June, Maisie Humphrey and Florence Carter (both L6), raced on the prestigious Henley course at Henley Women’s Regatta in the Junior doubles time trial.

They needed to race into the top twelve of the 30 crews entered in order to progress. 

Having never had a crew racing at Henley Women’s Regatta – the Norwich School girls were on a steep learning curve and raced with grit and determination.

Unfortunately, this year, qualification was just out of reach, but with another year of training, and more race experience these two girls will have their sights firmly set on racing at this prestigious event.
