Norwich School welcomes Norfolk pupils to the Norfolk Summer School

During the last term, Norwich School was honoured to host the Royal Institute’s Masterclasses for local pupils.

This year, Norwich School Sixth Form pupils, helped organise various tournaments which cumulatively raised £514.65 for Street Child.

Norwich School were invited to the official launch of the GoGoHares 2018 reveal on the 14th June. Artists, celebrities and members of the Norwich community were all in attendance.

12 Hares were revealed at the launch, with Fifty Hares in total to be positioned around Norwich city centre from the 24th June. Our very own Norwich School Hare will be revealed on the 24th.

The Norwich School community had an excellent day (14th June) raising awareness of dementia, alongside a Norwich based social enterprise Friend in Deed.

Norwich School pupils were warmly welcomed to the Clare School on Thursday 7th June. 

Pupils Adam Possener, Sophie Todd and Elizabeth King gave musical performances on the Viola, Voice and Oboe, to a group of pupils from the Clare School. Mrs Speca and Mrs Hill accompanied Norwich School pupils to the school.

This year’s Norfolk Summer School is approaching fast. Over 120 Year 12 pupils from Norfolk schools and Sixth Forms will be joining us this year for the programme which offers advice and support to students who are aiming for some of the UK’s most competitive university places.

Norwich School pupils took part in the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 2018 on Saturday 12th May. Some pupils cartwheeled across the finish line ...and were in the top 10 finishers!

Members of the Norwich School community completed the London Marathon 2018 on Sunday 22nd April. The marathon was the 38th of its kind and an estimated 40,000 runners were expected on the start line. It was officially recorded as the hottest London Marathon to date, with peak temperatures of 24.1°C.

Norwich School pupil Kitty Taylor (M5C) walked 50 miles over a three day period, in the Easter break. The walk took her along the North Norfolk coastal path and she picked up litter as she went.

Fourteen Norwich School pupils, and one ON, performed at St Peter's Church in Sheringham as part of the Norfolk County Youth Orchestra on the 13th April 2018. The concert was a culmination of of a residential week of music with the NCYO.

Norfolk youth parliament is a group of young people, elected by their peers to stand up for young people in Norfolk and create positive change.

Fifteen Norwich School pupils in L5 and M5 helped out with the Food and Farming Discovery Trust inaugural event 'The Science of Farming', which took place at the Norfolk Showground on the 13th March.

On Friday 9th March Norwich School pupils joined forces with YMCA Norfolk for their annual 'Sleep Easy' event.

On Monday 5th March the Norwich School Junior Choir, as well as pupils James Thistlewood, Alice Palmer, Jeffrey Chung and Brooke Elley, performed to residents of The Great Hospital, Norwich.

The Norwich School community is one to be proud about and is definitely missed when the buzz of the school day doesn't occur. The school's Estate Team must know this only too well, especially after the last 3 days of snow.
