The entire senior school gathered today in St. Andrew’s Hall for the culmination of this year’s House Music Festival.  A high level of choral and instrumental pieces were performed across two days, with pupils keen to collect points for their house. The Principal Adjudicator was Sara Brimer Davey, who joined the world-renowned Swingles in 2009.

Norwich School are proud to present an exhibition showcasing artwork by GCSE pupils at Norwich School, working in the disciplines of graphic design, photography, fine art, 3D design and textiles.

35 teams of staff and pupils, from the 4th to 6th form, entered this years Norwich School Share Traders competition. The competition was run by the Economics & Business Enterprise Department and Gartley Society, sponsored by the Friends of Norwich School.

On Friday 7th September, Norwich School celebrated its pupils' successes with the school's annual Prizegiving, set in the magnificent Norwich Cathedral. The evening was a fantastic celebration of the 2017/18 year at Norwich School.

It is a historic day for Norwich School, as we welcome pupils from as young as 4 years old for the first time. The extension of the Lower School, to include facilities for children in reception, year 1 and year 2, means that the school, set in the beautiful grounds of Norwich Cathedral, is now buzzing with boys and girls from aged 4 through to 18.

Norwich School is celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results this year, with 9s accounting for over a fifth of the grades in subjects which have been marked using the new system.

Pupils at Norwich School are celebrating strong A level results today. More than ¼ of the year has achieved 3As or better, securing places at competitive courses in leading universities across the country.

This morning saw pupils celebrate another year of strong A level results with some outstanding individual successes.

Alongside their academic studies, pupils are heavily involved in our extensive co-curricular programme and to make a significant contribution to the wider community. They have an excitingly diverse array of routes ahead of them after collecting their results today.

Emerging creative talent from East Anglia’s schools and colleges was celebrated at Norwich University of the Arts last week as the winners of this year’s Norfolk Art & Design Competition were revealed. Seb Green from Norwich School was highly commended for his video entry.

Norwich School, together with its advisors, are working closely with external agencies, including Norwich City Council and Historic England to develop a series of buildings and spaces that fulfil the growing needs of the school.

Friends of Norwich School launched a fundraising campaign in 2017 to restore the Infirmary Doors with an aim of £50,000. They introduced a Creative Writing Competition, open to all fourth form, where the pupils had to write a piece surrounding the Infirmary Doors.

Norwich School Warhammer 40k team competed at the National School’s League Championship on Tuesday 26th June. 

The championship, which took place at Warhammer World in Nottingham, was the conclusion of the 2017/2018 series.

After a successful season, the Norwich School Boat Club are proud that four pupils have been chosen for the 2018 J16 Great British Rowing Squad. The boys, Huckleberry Hempsall (U5), John Elliot (U5), Matthew Tremelling (U5) and Duncan Steel (U5), are set to race against France on Thursday 12 July. The annual event will be held in Vaires-sur-Marne, near Paris.
